The Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal (GSSSB) has announced a massive recruitment drive for the position of Revenue Talati (Class-3). Selection Process:
- Preliminary Examination (MCQ Based)
- Main Examination (Descriptive Type)

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
- Type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) based, conducted via OMR or CBRT (Computer Based Response Test) method.
- Total Marks: 200
- Total Questions: 200 (1 mark per question)
- Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
- Medium: Gujarati (except for the English language subject).
- Negative Marking: For OMR-based exams, there will be 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer or if a question is left unanswered without selecting option ‘E’. Selecting option ‘E’ (Not Attempted) will not incur negative marking. CBRT exams will have four options.
- Purpose: This is a screening test. Marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam will not be considered for the final merit list.

- Gujarati – 20 Marks
- English – 20 Marks
- Polity/Public Administration, Economics – 30 Marks
- History, Geography, Culture Heritage – 30 Marks
- Environment, Science and Information Technology – 30 Marks
- Current Affairs – 30 Marks
- Maths and Reasoning – 40 Marks
- Total – 200 Marks
- Qualifying for Mains: Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on merit in the Preliminary Exam, with the number of candidates being approximately five times the number of advertised vacancies.
Stage 2: Main Examination
- Type: Descriptive written examination.
- Papers: Three papers.

- Visit the OJAS Website.
- Find the Advertisement: Look for “Revenue Talati,” Advertisement No. 301/202526, under the current advertisements section.
- Online Application: Click on “Apply Online.” Fill in all the required details accurately, including personal information, educational qualifications, category, etc.. Ensure you have all original certificates (educational, age, caste, PwD, ex-serviceman, etc.) handy while filling the form.
- Upload Photograph & Signature: Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature as per the specified format. Keep multiple copies of the same photograph for future use during the recruitment process.
